What this service is
The Telecommunications Compensation Fund is a private company that reviews claims brought by claimants about their own telecom accounts — overcharges, fees that were never agreed to, services cancelled and still billed, promotional credits that lapsed, deposits and overpayments never returned, and similar — and pursues with the provider what the review supports. Where a claim is supported and the provider pays, a payout is released to the claimant.
What it is not
Opening a claim is not employment and nothing here is an offer of work. The fund is not a law firm, nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created. The fund is not a telecom carrier, not a regulator, not a government agency and not a government program, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any carrier, regulator or government entity.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or over, and the claim you open must be about an account held in your own name. One claim file per person per account. Files opened with information that is knowingly false, or opened on somebody else’s account, may be closed and any pending payout voided.
The claim verification fee
Opening a claim file carries a one-time charge. The list price of claim verification is $99 and the $19 rate is applied at checkout. It is a verification fee: it confirms that the real account holder, and not a bot or a third party, is behind the claim. It is charged a single time, it is not a deposit, it is not held against anything you recover, and it does not renew. It is covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee described in our refund policy.
No guaranteed outcome
Paying the verification fee opens a claim file and gets the claim reviewed. It does not entitle you to a payout, to any particular amount, or to an outcome by any date. A claim may come back with nothing. Review times depend on the provider the claim is against and are outside our control.
Payouts
Where a claim is supported and an amount is recovered, it is released to the claimant under the terms shown in the claim file at the time of release, which may include completing identity steps or a one-time release fee stated on the page before you pay. Any figure shown before a release is an estimate of what is being pursued, not a promise of what will be paid.
Purchases and refunds
Any paid product sold through this site is covered by the refund policy stated at the point of sale. Where a 30-day money-back guarantee is stated, it is honored on request within 30 days of purchase.
Limits
The site is provided as is. To the maximum extent the law allows, the Telecommunications Compensation Fund is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
